A convenient 5 minute walk to local shops and a 10 minute drive to the ‘Little Asia’ (and some of the tastiest food!) of Brisbane, a comprehensive head to toe makeover was performed on this solar powered, double story property fit for a family and their guests. The derelict empty pool was checked for issues, rectified and restored back to glory, made ready for fun in the sun. An awkward walk-in-robe was transformed into an inviting fresh ensuite replete with generous built-ins and air-conditioning. Ceiling fans were installed throughout the home to keep the breeze flowing on hot days. Along with the roofs being restored and resealed for longevity, the lower level façade received rendering, the entire house painted throughout, floor coverings replaced where necessary, bathrooms refreshed and new window coverings were also added to finalize the transition from daggy to contemporary. Coordination of an amicable agreement between 5 different parties for a shared cost fence replacement achieved additional privacy and consistency in the outdoor living spaces using durable, modern, minimal maintenance materials.
